Three Reasons For Jubilations
By
Prophet Hananiah,
Prophet Mishael
And
Prophet Azariah
The Reasons
Hananiah: Son of man, the Israelites rejoiced
greatly when King Cyrus gave the command and authority, all over Babylon, for
the Israelites to return to Jerusalem. The Israelites were rejoicing for three
major reasons.
One, God is love. When the Israelites were in Jerusalem, they did not
love God. They turned their back on God. The Temple was disorganized and
desolate. The walls were broken and fallen down, with nobody taking care of the
Temple.
Hananiah: Number 2 reason was because King Cyrus was
hearing and obeying what God was saying. Therefore, God was revealing various
things to him.
Number 3
Number 4
Jubilations And Celebrations
Hananiah: And son of man, as soon as he gave that command, the Israelites shouted in jubilations, ovations of joy. There were jubilations and celebrations, because that was when the Israelites realized their mistake for many years. God could have said, “You Israelites have to wait, for you people to learn many more things.” So, the Israelites longed to return back home, to Jerusalem, where they would worship God in perfection. That was why the Israelites knew that Jerusalem is the place where God was standing, live and direct – both spiritually and physically.
Between Jerusalem And Babylon
Hananiah: Babylon was just for learning purpose. And after learning the theory in Babylon, they had to come before God in Jerusalem, to do the practical.
So, every Israelite was rejoicing, because they were going home to Jerusalem, to see and meet God – the God of signs and wonders, the glorious and mighty Yahweh, the Lord of the Hosts! The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; the God of Holy Moses, who performed many glorious and marvellous works, through the ancient Prophets and Saints.
